What's in a Name?

Hello all....

So I tried posting a poll but realized it just was too soon for that. So if you might, I'd love for you to come back in a few days to visit again and vote in the New Name Poll I will have compiled by then.

For now, PLEASE throw in your name by posting a comment.

Things to consider:
-the name needs to evoke both dogs and cats
-the name should reference Brooklyn, as in "of Brooklyn", etc

Our current suggestions to riff off of are:

Mutts and Mitts of Brooklyn (aka MMOB)
Little Orphaned Animals (credit goes to Sonia)
Rescued Mutts Biggs and Small (credit goes to Sonia)
Furry Oasis (credit goes to Pops Biggs)
April & the Puppycats (credit goes to Tommy)

Happy Commenting!!!
April

Hey Sweetie! People should play with the word Whiskers. Maybe Whiskers Rescue? Whisker Love? That goes both cat and dog and makes for a simple graphic too.

Suggestions from Lyvett Velazquez:

Bow-wow Rescue Kitties Living in Your Nest (B.R.K.L.Y.N)
Bow-wow Rescue Kitties Loving Your Nest (BRKLYN)
Bone Rescue Kitties Loving Your Nation (BRKLYN)

you can play around with the BRKLYN letters...I will give it more thought...
I think it is a little to long/too wordy....

Wait, Apes. What's wrong with Brooklyn Mutts & Mitts? Is it because the acronym (BMM) implies bowel movements too much?

As in, 'Sorry I can't take a dog from your poopy organization, BMM.'

Or, referencing your benevolence, 'April runs BMM. But no, it's not a diarrhea support group.'

Get a few Stellas in me tonight and we'll see what comes out; hopefully less bathroom humor.

xo.
